WWE 'Raw' August 26, 2002 Trivia Quiz

Answer: Eric Bischoff

As "Raw" began, Eric Bischoff told the audience, and everyone watching at home, that there was going to be a Unification Match between the WWE Hardcore Champion and the WWE Intercontinental Champion, with whoever winning unifying the titles. He also announced that a Hall of Fame wrestling superstar would be a Lifetime Achievement Award.

He then announced the return of Brock Lesnar, the new WWE Undisputed Heavyweight Champion, on "Raw".

Answer: Triple H

Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman came to the ring, where Heyman was telling the audience that they should have listened to him when he told everyone that Lesnar would win "King Of The Ring" and that he would win the WWE Undisputed Heavyweight Champion at "SummerSlam".

But just as Lesnar was speaking, the Cerebral Assassin walked to the ramp and said that he wanted a shot at the title, because according to Triple H, it was he who softened The Rock up, allowing Lesnar to win the title.

Answer: The Undertaker

As Triple H was demanding a shot at the title, The Undertaker walked to his yard. Taker said that he should be the one who gets the first shot at the new champ, and he asked Lesnar if he was really the "Next Big Thing" or if he was really the "Next Big Witch". Just then Taker was double teamed, but he fought back, and knocked both Lesnar and Helmsley out of the ring. Way to go Taker! [edited for content]

Answer: Christian

Booker T, accompanied by Goldust, faced off against Un-American, Christian, who was accompanied by Lance Storm. Both men fought good, but Booker T was just a little bit better. Christian lost when Booker hit him with the "Scissors Kick" and pinned him for the win.

Answer: William Regal and Christopher Nowinski

Bubba Ray Dudley and Spike Dudley faced off against William Regal and Christopher Nowinski, who were accompanied to the ring by Molly Holly. Although Nowinski and Regal tried to cheat, they were unsuccessful. Bubba and Spike won when Bubba slammed Regal with the "Bubba Bomb" and pinned him for the win.

After the match, Bubba was about to put the virginal Molly Holly through a table, but Nowinski saved her. However, Spike hit the "Dudley Dog" on Regal, making his face slam into the table. Bubba finished off Regal when he put him through the table.

Answer: Jimmy Superfly Snuka

Bischoff claimed that he was honored to have Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka in the ring, and he claimed to be honored to present the legend with the WWE Lifetime Achievement Award, but it was all an act. He refused to let the great legend get a word in edge wise.

Answer: Rosie and Jamal

Eric Bischoff told Snuka that it was great to be in the ring with him for three minutes. As soon as he said 'three minutes', we all knew what was going to happen. Poor Snuka was attacked by Rosie first, but the legend fought back. It looked like Rosie was going to get a taste of his own medicine, but sadly it was not to be because Jamal got in the ring and the two monsters sidelined Snuka.

They clotheslined and "Top Rope Splashed" him. The poor guy didn't stand a chance. And to make matters worse, after Rosie and Jamal did their damage, when Chris Jericho came to the ring, he put Snuka in the "Walls Of Jericho".

Answer: "New York, New York"

Chris Jericho said that since his band, Fozzy, were so rudely interrupted the previous week on "Raw" by Ric Flair, he was going to finish the concert tonight. Jericho sang his version of "New York, New York". During the song he was badmouthing New Yorkers.

Answer: Jeff Hardy

Chris Jericho faced off against Jeff Hardy. Jericho was in control of the match from the beginning. Unfortunately, Jeff Hardy won after Jericho was disqualified when he refused to release Jeff from the "Walls Of Jericho", even though Jeff had his hands on the ropes.

Answer: Burn it

The Un-Americans, Test, Lance Storm, and Christian, decided to burn Old Glory in the middle of the ring, although it was Test's brilliant idea. They came to the ring carrying a blowtorch, and just as they were about to torch it, Booker T and Goldust ran to Old Glory's rescue. Goldust and Booker were immediately dispatched by the Un-Americans, and Test once again held up the blowtorch and the flag, ready once more to torch it.

Answer: Kane

Just as it looked like Old Glory was about to be torched, Kane came out and, together with Booker T and Goldust, demolished the Un-Americans. Booker performed the trademark "Spinerooni", but Kane wasn't going to let Booker and Goldust leave just yet. Kane said the fans wanted to see the "Kanerooni", and the Big Red Machine proceeded to do just that.

This was Kane's comeback after suffering a torn bicep at the hands of the nWo back in April of 2002. Kane wore a new, darker costume that looked like it had red straps in strategic places.

He also had on a new mask, which according to his interview with Jim Ross immediately following "SummerSlam", made breathing and talking easier. Kane came back bulkier than he was before and looked fantastic. In my opinion, Kane is a cinch for the WWE Undisputed Heavyweight Championship. Since he's the only one that lifted The Big Show at the "Royal Rumble", he's probably the only one that can defeat Brock Lesnar. I can only hope that with his return The Brothers Of Destruction will get back together once again. Welcome back Kane!

Answer: Tommy Dreamer

WWE Intercontinental Champion, Rob Van Dam, faced off against the WWE Hardcore Champion, Tommy Dreamer, in a Unification Match. Unfortunately, Dreamer lost after Van Dam hit him with the pathetic "Five Star Frog Splash". Truly unbelievable!

Answer: Tuxedo And Evening Gown Match

Lilian Garcia, accompanied to the ring by Trish Stratus, faced off against Howard Finkle in a Tuxedo And Evening Gown Match. Prior to the match, Stacy Kiebler came out and told Finkle that she was not in his corner, that she was there to make sure that Trish didn't interfere.

When the match started, Finkle knocked Lilian down and proceeded to tear her dress, but Lilian fought back. The two went at it, and it looked like Finkle was going to win, but he just had to open his big mouth. He said that Lilian showed the world what blondes were really made of.

This got Stacy and Trish in an uproar, and they along with Lilian stripped Finkle down to his underwear. Finkle was shown wearing bright red bikini briefs. Horrified, he ran up the ramp. Because of this match, "Smackdown" gets to have Finkle. Eeeessshh!

Answer: The Undertaker

The Undertaker faced off against Triple H, in a match to determine who the Number One Contender would be. Taker had control of the match from the beginning, but Triple H soon took it away. Both men fought viciously.

Answer: Brock Lesnar

Just as it looked like The Undertaker would defeat Triple H, Brock Lesnar interfered and took out The Undertaker, thus, allowing Triple H to win. After the match, Stephanie was shown in the parking lot and Bischoff wanted to know why she was there. As Lesnar and Heyman got in the limo, she told Bischoff that this was Lesnar's last "Raw", and that he was exclusively "Smackdown". Way to go Stephanie!
