WWE "Smackdown" October 31, 2002 Quiz

Answer: Edge and Chris Benoit

Edge and Chris Benoit faced off in the first match of the evening. Benoit took the younger Edge to school, showing him how a true master of the ring wrestles. Edge had some tricks up his sleeve, but he wasn't a match for the Rabid Wolverine.

Just as Benoit put Edge in the "Crippler Crossface," Angle came running to the ring and yanked Benoit out of the ring, breaking up the submission hold. Benoit and Angle came to blows on the outside of the ring, and as they were fighting, Edge climbed to the top of the rope and jumped on them. After Benoit went back into the ring, Edge hit him with the "Spear" and pinned him for the win.

Answer: Kurt Angle

After the match, Benoit went gunning for Angle. He entered the Halloween party and began asking if anyone saw Angle. Benoit walked up to a man dressed as ghost-faced killer from "Scream," and asked him if he saw Angle, and the ghost-faced killer shook his head 'no'.

Then Benoit wandered around a little more, and then finally left. After he left, it was revealed that Angle was the ghost-face from "Scream."

During the party, we saw Mae Young dressed as Marilyn Monroe, sitting at the bar. Tajiri, who had just seen Torrie Wilson dressed as Xena, walked over to, what he thought was a young pretty girl, and was shocked to see that it was Mae Young!

When Brock Lesnar arrived at the arena, he entered his locker room. There, Paul Heyman told him that there was no way he could beat The Big Show. Heyman said that Show is 500 lbs. and is over 7'0" tall. He said that Lesnar wouldn't be able to "F5" Show. During the one sided conversation, Lesnar just looked at Heyman.

Then Heyman said that he's sorry he had to say what he said, but that is what someone like him does for someone like Lesnar.

Answer: Rikishi

The Big Show faced off against Rikishi. This match was the outcome from the attack Rikishi suffered at the hands of Show the week before. Show won when he "Chokeslammed" the Phat Man.

Answer: Dawn Marie

Torrie Wilson, the winner of the 2002 Golden Thong Award, faced off against Dawn Marie in a Trick Or Treat Match. The two women fought in a giant bowl of chocolate. Torrie won when she pinned Dawn Marie.

Answer: Mae Young

During the Halloween party, Matt Hardy challenged Tajiri to a match, saying "you need a Mattitude adjustment." As Tajiri was about to get up from where he was sitting, Mae Young grabbed him and planted a big wet one on the Japanese Buzzsaw.

Answer: Eddie Guerrero

Kurt Angle faced off against Eddie Guerrero. Angle pulled out all the stops for this match, as did Guerrero. However, near the end of the match, the referee was knocked out and Chavo, Eddie's nephew, tried to interfere in the match, but Angle stopped him.

As Angle was in the corner of the ring, ready to slam Guerrero off the top rope, Benoit sneaked up and smacked him with one of the title belts. This allowed Guerrero to pin Angle for the win. After the match, Guerrero clocked Eddie and Chavo with the title.

Answer: Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar, the WWE Undisputed Heavyweight Champion, faced off against the agile Rey Mysterio. Mysterio was basically no challenge to Lesnar, although he did land a few good shots, and he did hit him with the "619" and the "West Coast Pop". However, the match was a No Contest, when The Big Show interfered and he and Lesnar went at it. "Smackdown" ended with Show "Chokeslamming" Lesnar through the announce table.
