Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Tora refused to give up their amethyst to Adin after his journey to Del in "The Rise of Adin"; why was this?

Answer: They didn't care for all but their protected city.

Adin attempted to enter Tora twice - the first being repelled by their magic, and the second being pulled into the city, but then rejected.
2. A dark sorcerer had entered Deltora on a stormy night in "The Tenna Birdsong Tales" and met a dragon. He asked the dragon to serve him. What did he reply?

Answer: 'Dragons are no servant to any man sorcerer! We are servants of the land. And the land has no use for you. Begone!'

The sorcerer was indeed the Shadowlord who escaped to the mountains, reclaiming it the Shadowlands.
3. What was the bargain made by the Mere for the great Lapis Lazuli? ("The Rise of Adin")

Answer: To bring back a Sand Beast's head.

The Mere dragon of the territory did speak to Adin, but that wasn't the deal. It was the dragon that simply hunted down the Sand Beast.
4. What was the brave Jalis warrior's name? ("The Rise of Adin")

Answer: Greel

Gorl is the Jalis in the "Forests of Silence", so therefore cannot be in both books.
5. What was the order of the gems retrieved? ("The Rise of Adin")

Answer: Diamond, Emerald, Lapis Lazuli, Topaz, Opal, Ruby, Amethyst

If you didn't notice, the gem order of the correct answer with only the first letters spells DELTORA. It should be easy to spot.
6. "Tenna Birdsong Tales" - Which of the four sister's voices was ceased last?

Answer: Terra's

The sorcerer had hated their music, and so separated them and ceased their voices.
7. "Tenna Birdsong Tales" - Who were the three pipers volunteering to play the Pirran Pipe?

Answer: Keras, Plume, Auron

When the sorcerer came and divided the pipe after nights of the exact same voting results, Pirra descended into darkness and changed into the Shadowlands.
8. "The Rise of Adin" What was the Dread Gnome's leader's name?

Answer: Az-Zure

Ri-Thon is another Dread Gnome, and after Adin saved Az-Zure's life he was named 'The Archer of Azzure'.
9. What was the last gem to be obtained in "The Rise of Adin"?

Answer: Amethyst

Tora disagreed with Adin on his first two attempts to gain the gem, but then they realized the danger the Land of Dragons was in. The Torans rushed into the war between the Shadows and Adin's Army to deliver the amethyst.
10. In "The Rise of Adin", where was the green beast's weak spot?

Answer: In his throat

The green beast was sent by the Shadowlord, and it pounced upon Az-Zure; probably because of her greed with the Diamond she'd been sent the misfortune.
