1. Every birthday, Dad makes Dizzy the same special breakfast.

He makes her cheese on toast, with normal cheddar, then orange cheese spelling out her age. She is 12 at the beginning of the book. Another tradition is that Dad and Dizzy get a pizza and watch TV in the evenings.

2. Where do Sara, Sasha, Jade and Dizzy go after school?

Answer: Dimitri's caff

At first they talk about their school ties, saying who could look cool in one. Then they use them to cover Dizzy's eyes while Dimitri comes in with slices of chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. He has even stuck 12 candles in the cake and ice cream too!

3. What did Dizzy get for her birthday from Mum this year?

Answer: Nothing

She turned up on the doorstep! Dad wasn't so pleased, because Mum changed the pizza tradition. She is a vegan and wanted to have bean stew. Dizzy didn't complain - she said "If your mother who you hadn't seen for 8 years turned up on the doorstep, wouldn't you want to please her too?"

Mouse's Mum is a drug addict who is in rehab in London. He lives with Zak, Storm's boyfriend, but is not happy about it! He truly comes out of his shell when Dizzy and Finn make friends with him!

People take it very seriously, and no-one is allowed near the tepee whilst Zak is doing his healing. Storm is a fortune teller, but no-one is a mind reader!
