Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Who runs the magic potion shop in Neopia Central?

Answer: Kauvara

Kauvara is responsible for creating all of the Transformation and Transmogrification Potions in Neopia, and they usually sell for quite a bit of money. Transmogrification Potions will turn your pet into a mutant while Transformation Potions will simply change a pet's species and/or colour. Kalora is also found in the popular game "Cheat!", and she is the fourth-to last opponent in the game. Kalora is a Kau Neopet.
2. Which Petpet is likely to be found in the Haunted Woods Petpet shop?

Answer: Walking Carpet

Walking Carpet is quite an odd Petpet considering that he's just a hairy beast. Walking Carpets usually communicate using large grunts or roaring sounds which are somewhat similar to a Wookiee from "Star Wars". Flouds can be found in the Faerieland Petpet shop (and DON'T feed them carrots), Feepits are wintry Petpets found on Terror Mountain that were originally released in the Advent Calendar, and Spardel is bought in Neopia Central.
3. Where would you find the city of Phorofor?

Answer: Neoquest II

Phorofor is a city in the first of five acts of the RPG "Neoquest II". The 'lost' city is relatively close to the town of Lakeside, and it can be found in the desert. Not only does it contain a guard, but it contains a merchant who will sell you potions.

At the far corner of this city is the Sand Grundo, and once he's defeated, you can advance to the Tower on the Hill and the last portion of Meridell. At this point in the game, you will only be using Rohane and Mipsy.
4. Which is the name of a location that contains hungry Kadoaties?

Answer: The Kadoatery

Kadoaties are known for their loud, piercing meows when they want something. When you visit the Kadoatery, you'll be able to help out by donating some food to a hungry Kadoatie. Usually, they'll require a specific item to be happier, so you'll need to make use of the shop wizard, auctions, and trades. If you feed enough Kadoaties, you'll get a rare Kadoatery avatar. Watch out for certain Kadoaties though, if there happens to be a Kadoatie longing for a Blue Draik Egg, you could be paying upwards of 250,000 Neopoints!
5. In order to obtain answers to the Brain Tree's questions, who must you accept quests from?

Answer: The Esophagor

Both the Esophagor and the Brain Tree are found in the Haunted Woods, and both require you to complete quests for expensive items. The Brain Tree will ask you a question, and you must find the answer somewhere in Neopia. This is where the Esophagor comes in. You'll need to feed the Esophagor whatever he asks for in order to find out the answers. If you happen to give the Brain Tree the correct response, he'll give you a random reward.

He may also become a Battledome challenger.
6. Which "Cheat!" opponent will give you an avatar during the game?

Answer: Capara

Capara the Kyrii is the easiest player to defeat in the game "Cheat!", and she is the first player to be eliminated from the game. After defeating this player, you'll automatically receive the Capara avatar for use in the chat boards. Other "Cheat!" players include Branston the Eyrie, Princess Fernypoo, and Brucey B.

After most of the rounds of this game, you'll receive a Battlecard with one of their faces on the front.
7. Which of these Neopets can also be described as a Petpet?

Answer: Krawk

Krawks can be described as a petpet because of the way that one can obtain it. In order to add a Krawk to your collection of Neopets (remember, you can only have four!), you must buy a Krawk Petpet at the Little Nippers Petpet shop on Krawk Island. Attach it to your pet and take it to Fungus Cave.

Here, it will eat the fungus on the walls and become a Krawk Neopet! Krawks are often the rarest Neopet in Neopia, with the lowest population. The next would be Draiks, which are also obtained differently than many others.
8. What is a Fuzzle?

Answer: A toy

Fuzzles may bear a striking resemblance to a Jubjub, but the Neopets Staff has assured users that they are nothing more than cute and cuddly toys for your Neopets. Fuzzles come in many different colours, and they are occasionally found in new user starter packs.

There is also a group of Evil Fuzzles that many pets are afraid to play with. Evil Fuzzles also star in the popular game "Evil Fuzzles from Beyond the Stars". Although this game was placed into the Game Graveyard, the Neopets Staff produced a revamped sequel with the same name.
9. Which type of element is not found in the game "Chemistry for Beginners"?

Answer: Slothium

The game includes Neopium, Tyrannium, Slothite, Faeryllium and Krawkite. In the puzzle game, "Chemistry for Beginners", you must create different compounds using atoms of each substance. With different compounds, you can get more bonus points and combinations.

The game is quite tough in later levels since placement of each atom is crucial. Any mistake could result in unused materials, and less Neopoints.
10. Which of these is not a popular Neopian musical group?

Answer: Moehog Motown

If your Neopet is a big music fan, then you can buy a ticket for the Neopian Concert Hall in Tyrannia. The ticket usually won't cost much, and the experience is great as well. Some bands will even give you an avatar for attending a concert. Bands include M*YNCI, The Neopian Philharmonic, Moehawk, and Jazzmosis.

After a concert, you'll usually get a souvenir as well, and the Advent Calendar has been known to release band-specific items.
