Vert had taken a motorcycle into the Ruins Realm. While he was making his way through a maze of stone structures, one of the stone statues came to life and went after Karma, blocking Vert's path. Not having enough time to react, Vert ran right into the statue, knocking his motorcycle over and banging up his right leg. Later, Vert is seen with a metal cast/brace.

This is part of his reason for staying behind during the rescue mission for Wylde.

Answer: Alec Wood, Dan Dresden, and Banjee Castille

When Kurt found out that his brother Wylde had been captured by the Drones, he demanded that they go back into the realm. Lani told him that Kadeem and Wylde weren't the only drivers lost in the realms. Alec Wood, Dan Dresden, and Banjee Castille had also been lost (but not neccessarily taken by the Drones). Kurt then began formulating a plan to rescue Wylde behind Dr. Tezla's back. Alec Wood was a Wave Ripper. Banjee Castille, Skeet, and Esmeralda Sanchez were part of the Road Beasts. Charlie Raffa, Chuvo, and Brian Kadeem were Dune Rats. Dan Dresden and Ricky Bell were a part of the Street Breed. Vesuvius was a Scorcher.

Answer: to rescue Wylde

Kurt had brought all of the racers away from Dr. Tezla's cameras, and told them his plan to rescue Wylde. They all agreed to work together except for Vert, who was feeling down about his recent crashes in the realms. Kurt's plan was for Monkey to take over a Sweeper in the Cosmic Realm, and then drive through the portal with all of the cars carried in it.

This would hopefully transport them to Gelorum's hideout.

Monkey followed Kurt's plan and purposely got captured by a Sweeper to try to take it over. Once inside, he made his way to the cockpit and slowly got out the flashlight in his tool belt. He was ready to whack the Sweeper Drone, when he clumsily dropped the flashlight with a loud thud, warning the Drone of his presence. Meanwhile, Pork Chop had also climbed aboard and came to Monkey's rescue by punching the Drone in the the head with his brass knuckles.

Answer: because Kurt made him get sent to jail

Soon after the World Race, Kurt and Markie (Wylde) both got into a business deal. Kurt found out that their business partners were crooked, so he pulled out. Markie didn't want to quit and quickly got caught. Kurt didn't tell the police all he knew because he would've been sent to jail.

This sent Markie to jail for two years. While in prison, he buffed up and started calling himself Wylde.

The Teku won two Accelechargers, but the Metal Maniacs only won one. Nolo won the Swamp Realm Accelecharger, and Kurt won the Junk Realm Accelecharger. Pork Chop won the Cavern Realm Accelecharger.

Gig had altered Dr. Tezla's medication to knock him out and switched the Accelechargers with fake ones. He then hid them in an empty storage tank. When Lani found them, Gig revealed that he was a spy and that there was a Silencer hiding in the Accele Drome.

Before the rescue team got to Wylde, Gelorum had already pried the location of the Accele Drome out of him. Kurt went to the building, where Wylde was being held, by himself while the other racers held off the Drones. Kadeem ambushed Kurt, but Wylde got free by using his robotic arm and came to his rescue.

As a product of the fight, Kadeem ended up hanging off of the top of the building. Sticking out his hand, Kurt pleaded with Kadeem to let them help him, but Kadeem let go instead. When the Teku and Metal Maniacs returned to the Accele Drome, they got captured by the Drones.

Answer: Vert

After the other racers infiltrated Gelorum's lair, Gelorum and her Drones followed Wylde's directions to the Accele Drome. The Drones found and took the Silencer's and the racers' real Accelechargers. When the Accelecharger energy combined, the portal opened to an ultimate race through the realms. Vert, with Sparky and the Silencer's help, was able to follow her in. Even though Gelorum had the advantage of the Accelechargers, Vert kept up with Gelorum through all of the realms. Vert and Gelorum went through the last portal at the same time, transporting to a track leading to a portal to the Accelerons' home. Even though Vert rammed into her and both crashed before going through, an Acceleron came out of the portal. Gelorum demanded that she be allowed to become an Acceleracer and race her creators.

The Acceleron said that she had cheated by using Accelechargers and made Vert an Acceleracer instead. Gelorum tried to attack Vert, but the Acceleron sent her flying. Vert told the Acceleron that he had to go back and help his friends.

The Acceleron understood, giving Vert the Accelechargers and a fourth ring to the Wheel of Power.

When Vert got back to the Accele Drome, he helped the other racers get free. Gig stayed behind to blow the Accele Drome up, destroying the Drones. The Teku, Metal Maniacs, Dr. Tezla, and Lani drove out the secret entrance of the Accele Drome, but Vert and Sparky drove through the portal, expecting to land in the desert.

However, something went wrong, and Vert was sent to the Silencerz's lair. They grabbed Vert, the Accelechargers, and the fourth ring to the Wheel of Power right before Sparky pushed the EDR (Emergency Driver Return). Sparky got sent to the desert where the others found him.

When they ask him what happened to Vert, he has no idea. The Teku and Metal Maniacs vow to find him. The screen flashes back to Vert who wakes up in a chair.

He starts to sneak away when he is surrounded by Silencer scientists. He demands to know what they are hiding. A Silencer driver (the one that was hiding in the Accele Drome), steps towards Vert and takes his helmet off to reveal himself as Vert's dad, Major Wheeler.

He tells Vert that they have a lot to talk about. The "Acceleracers" DVD series ends with Vert saying, "Dad?".
