Pamela was Ella's childhood friend. When Ella told her about her curse, Pamela thought it would be fun to abuse Ella... that is, until Ella punched her, and their friendship ended.

Well, even if Sir Peter IS Ella's father, he's right-- he's not a good man! He wants to send Ella off to finishing school to become a cultured young lady, but Ella doesn't want to go.
