1. Which county in England is Eastdown in?

Answer: Sussex

Eastdown is, of course, a fictional place. Seemed nice enough though.

2. The Thompsons find a cosh and what other item in Tintin's pockets?

Answer: Wallet

These were planted on him in order to get arrested (and it worked).

3. How do Puschov and his associates intend to kill Tintin?

Answer: Make him jump off a cliff

This is averted by Snowy, however, who provokes a goat and runs towards where Puschov and his henchman are, knocking Puschov over, and giving Tintin time to seize the gun. A nice plan, but the crooks still get away when the goat comes back, making Tintin lose his balance and giving the bad guys time to get away.

4. What does Snowy originally lead Tintin to at the site of the crashed aircraft?

Answer: A bone

Snowy does lead Tintin to the flying jackets afterwards, one of which contains important clues to Muller's dealings.

This was the wire from the lights used to signal to the delivery plane. It backfires though, as when the two struggle, they cause a short-circuit which burns the wires.

He grabs it in his mouth when the waiter serving it is knocked flying during Tintin's pursuit of Muller and Ivan.

Residents of Kiltoch believed that a 'beast' lived in the ruins of the castle.

Surprisingly, it wasn't Ranko, the big fierce Gorilla on the island feared by all of Kiltoch, but a little spider. Ranko was actually scared of Snowy's bark.

Answer: Puss in boots

This was because, strangely enough, he was wearing boots.

When Muller and Ivan get there, Tintin uses the ink roller.

This shows us the plane that the Thompsons commandeered winning the competition, thanks to some unwitting aerobatics.
