Scamper is Peter and Janet's dog and always attends Secret Seven meetings, but he is only an 'unofficial' member of the group.

Peter and Janet are brother and sister, and Peter is the leader of The Secret Seven. The gang meet in their garden shed, which has 'S.S.' painted on the door. They sit on upside-down plant pots and old boxes.
