Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Of what branch of the military is Cornchip Girl's father a member?

Answer: Navy

We find this out in "The Army-Navy Game." It is also revealed that Cornchip Girl's name is Theresa Laverne LaMaise. Her father and Gus's father are rivals since Lt. Griswold is in the army.
2. Who was Spinelli named after?

Answer: A dogsledder

In "First Name Ashley," Spinelli reveals she was named after her great aunt, the first woman to win the Iditarod, which is a dogsled race. Unfortunately, her first name is a source of disdain since the Ashleys are known to be snobby and prissy.
3. In "Prickly is Leaving," Principal Prickly gets his dream job at a middle school. Who is it named after?

Answer: Spiro T. Agnew

The kids find out Prickly's replacement is much worse. Prickly eventually returns after the middle school wouldn't give him enough money.
4. In "Omega Kids," what was served for lunch that got most of the school sick?

Answer: Tacos

Almost everyone ate tuna fish tacos, which were gone by the time TJ and the gang had their turns at the lunch line. The students were sick enough that Ms. Grotke got ahead in learning and taught the entire fourth grade curriculum and lunch was pizza that was so old, it shattered upon contact.
5. Finish the title of this season one episode: "Big Brother ___".

Answer: Chad

While Vince was the athletic type, Chad was a geek who favored Broadway tunes. Other kids remember Chad as someone who helped them out.
6. What type of game was Ajimbo?

Answer: tile

The playground is swept up by a fad in "The Game." Everyone except T.J. plays Ajimbo.
7. What was the number of the room where The Pale Kids spent recess?

In "Lord of the Nerds," TJ breaks his collarbone and spends recess with those who choose to stay indoors.
8. A disagreement over kickball in "The Rules" leads to the revival of one ruler's set of regulations. Who was that king?

Answer: Mortimer

Mortimer's rule book was from 1935 during the Great Depression, when just about everyone in the world had to make do without the money to buy toys and games. TJ and the gang didn't feel they were practical in modern times.
9. What was the name of the Scout troop in "Beyond a Reasonable Scout"?

Answer: Woodchuck

Gus and Mikey try to become Woodchuck Scouts, but Phil tries everything to keep them out.
10. In the "League of Randalls," Randall tries to recruit a group of snitches with the same first name. What are they?

Answer: Tylers

The Tylers are the little brothers of The Ashleys. This was their only appearance in the series and their catch phrase was "Notorious!"
