1. Who is the book dedicated to?

Answer: Ursula

You can find the answer on the first page. It is in the balloon.

Answer: witch

She danced with the witch. Sandra saw the leprechaun, Eddie touched the troll, and Donald heard the mermaid sing.
3. In "Homemade Boat" what did they forget to put on the boat?

Answer: bottom

They made the whole boat and forgot to put the bottom, I guess they didn't get very far with a bottomless boat.
4. In the poem, "The Loser" what body part is lost?

Answer: head

I loved this poem, I thought how funny it would be to lose your head.
5. At the end of "Smart" how much money did the son have left?

Answer: five pennies

His dad gave him a dollar and he traded it for two quarters. Then he traded them for three dimes. Then he traded those for four nickels. And, finally he traded the nickels for the five pennies.

Answer: Lizzie

Ricky was the "L", Lizzie was the "O", and Mitchell was the "E".

Answer: whale

It took her 89 years but she ate the whale like she said she would.
8. What was the problem with the hippo in "Recipe For A Hippopotamus Sandwich"?

Answer: biting into it

I don't know which would be better, a hippo sandwich or eating an entire whale.
9. What was lazy Jane waiting for?

Answer: rain

She was so lazy that for a drink of water she waited for the rain.
10. In "Invention" the light needs to plug into a regular outlet to work.

Answer: false

It needed to plug into the sun. Well, it would have worked if only the cord was long enough.
