1. We're in New South Wales, in a beachside suburb not far from Kurnell, south of Sydney. Where are we?

Answer: Cronulla

Home to the Rugby League team the Cronulla "Sharks", this is a very cosmopolitan southern suburb of Sydney skirted by some of the best surfing and swimming beaches including Wanda, North and South Cronulla.
2. We're in Queensland, on the Sunshine Coast, 96 km north of Brisbane. Where are we?

Answer: Caloundra

Detour off the Bruce Highway and you're in this delightful beachside city. There is a prominent lighthouse protecting the main shipping channel to Brisbane, great fishing and nearby are the stunning Glasshouse Mountains!
3. Down south to Tasmania, we're bayside, near a National Park on the east coast, not far from Swansea. Where are we?

Answer: Coles Bay

This unspoiled bay is near the Freycinet National Park, a wildlife sanctuary, on the Freycinet Peninsula. There are beautiful swimming and fishing beaches and, whilst bushwalking through the Park, you should keep your eyes open for the gorgeous ground orchids!
4. We're in the Pilbara area of Western Australia, not far from Roebourne, the oldest town in the north west. Where are we?

Answer: Cossack

Cossack is an old, deserted pearling port, a short drive from Roebourne in the far north west of Western Australia. Inland is the Fortescue River and the Chichester Range National Park, well worth a visit!
5. Still in the west, on the Eyre Highway about 280 km from the South Australian border. Where are we?

Answer: Cocklebiddy

On the Nullabor Plain, the ruins of an Aboriginal Mission can still be seen at this tiny settlement, 1,160 km east of Perth, it relies on a desalination plant to provide water, even though the Cocklebiddy Caves are only 5km up the road (a French diving team recorded the deepest cave dive in the world there in 1983)!
6. We're in Victoria, 'the Garden State', halfway between Sydney and Melbourne on the Princes Highway. Where are we?

Answer: Cann River

A popular stop on the way up or down the Princes Highway. There's great fishing and bushwalking in the Croajingolong, Captain James Cook, Wingan and Mallacoota National Parks.
7. We're in New South Wales in a town known as the capital of the Banana Coast. Where are we?

Answer: Coffs Harbour

The harbour at Coffs Harbour is man-made. Home to the "Big Banana", a concrete construction that houses displays relating to the Banana Industry in the local area (the chocolate coated frozen bananas are delicious) it's a popular resort town.
8. We're on the Lachlan River in New South Wales, 40 km south east of the Wyangala Dam. Where are we?

Answer: Cowra

Historically, Cowra is best known for the Japanese prisoner of war break-out in August 1944. The prisoners attempted a mass escape and 247 of them as well as four Australians died! Many of the Japanese committed suicide.

Answer: Croker Island

Croker Island is an Aboriginal Reserve in Arnhem Land, which is to the east of Darwin. Arnhem Land is one of Australia's most fascinating wilderness areas covering nearly eight million hectares!
10. We're in the Snowy Mountains, eight kilometers from Mt Kosciusko. Where are we?

Answer: Charlottes Pass

98 km from Cooma, just up the road from Thredbo, a great base for ski tours to some of Australia's highest peaks and best ski resorts. It's hard for some non-Australians to conceive that we even have snow, but we've got some of the best ski resorts in the world, in New South Wales and Victoria!
