Utica was first settled in 1773, and became a major centre for Welsh immigration in the 19th century. The city's early economy was dominated by the textile industry. The manufacture of radios superceded textiles in the first half of the 20th century.

Yuma was a major steamboat port in the 19th century, serving settlers heading to California as well as local gold prospectors. The county seat of Yuma County, the city is home to the Yuma Crossing Historic State Park.

Answer: Yonkers

Yonkers is located on the banks of the Hudson River, in Westchester County, New York. The New York City borough of The Bronx borders the city to the south. The city is named after Adriaen van der Donck, a lawyer in the 17th century Dutch colony of New Amsterdam. Formerly an important manufacturing centre, in the early 21st century Yonkers was primarily a commuter city.

Answer: Youngstown

Youngstown, Ohio, was named after one of its original settlers, John Young. Incorporated as a city in 1867, the city was situated in an area with abundant coal and iron ore, and the steel industry dominated the local economy until 1977. Automobile plants and Youngstown State University provided alternative jobs in the area from the 1980s.

In 1995, Bruce Springsteen recorded a song entitled "Youngstown" lamenting the demise of the area's heavy industry.
