Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Who had a one-man show in early 2004 where tickets were selling at up to £500 each?

Answer: Alastair Campbell

Alastair Campbell - the ex-adviser to Prime Minister Tont Blair at 10, Downing street - apparently went on stage. The reports are that the production was a great success. Few would doubt his ability in the theatrical area of life anyway!
2. Who in early 2004 gained the backing of the Labour Party membership to be the Labour Party candidate for the London elections for Mayor?

Answer: Ken Livingstone

Having been removed from the Labour Party for standing against their candidate in 2000 (having failed to win selection himself), Labour have courted him again. Inside information suggests that polls were showing Livingstone would win again as an independent, but do better if he were back in the Labour Party.

In the process Labour ditched the candidate whom they had already selected for the 2004 election (they will say that she stood down!). Now who said politics was only about being in power and not principles?
