Answer: Marathon

The Snickers was originally sold as a Marathon in the UK and Ireland. It was renamed in 1990 as Snickers.
2. What is the former name for a 'Twix?

Answer: Raider

The Twix bar was known as a Raider in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Norway until 1991. It was changed to Twix, except in Finland, Denmark, Norway and Sweden where it was renamed in 2000.
3. What is the former name for 'Starburst' in the UK?

Answer: Opal Fruits

Starbust was known as Opal Fruits in the UK until 1998. They were renamed to match the international name.
4. What is the former name for 'Jelly Babies'?

Answer: Peace Babies

Many of Walkers' brands were formerly branded under the Smiths Crisps name. This comes from the time when Walkers, Smiths and Tudor were the three main brands of Nabisco's UK snack division with Tudor being marketed mainly in the north of England and Walkers in the south. After the takeover by Pepsico the Tudor name was dropped and the Smiths brand has gradually been phased out in favour of Walkers.

The only product currently retaining the Smiths brand are Bacon Flavour Fries and Scampi Flavour Fries.

The Gummy Bear originates from Germany where it is hugely popular under the name Gummibär ("rubber bear"). The German company Haribo from Bonn first produced bear-shaped sweets in 1922 and introduced its Gold-Bear product in the 1960s.

Answer: Glucozade

Lucozade is an energy drink containing glucose syrup and caffeine, produced by GlaxoSmithKline plc. It was first manufactured in 1927 by a Newcastle chemist, who experimented for several years to provide a source of energy for those who are sick. It became available throughout the UK for use in hospitals under the name Glucozade. This was changed to the recognizable Lucozade in 1929.
