Answer: The Barbican

Although "Les Mis" is best known for its 18 year run at the Palace, it actually opened first at the Barbican Theatre.
"Les Mis" transferred to the Palace in December 1985.
It then moved to the Queen's Theatre on 3rd April 2004.
Her Majesties is the theatre in which 'Phantom of the Opera' is also making a long run.
2. Which Broadway star came over to Britain to play the role of Fantine?

Answer: Patti LuPone

Patti LuPone is best known for playing Eva Peron in "Evita".
Neither Elaine Paige nor Judy Kuhn have played Fantine (although Judy Kuhn played Cosette), and Ruthie Henshall was the 10th Anniversary Fantine.
3. When 'Les Miserables' opened in the Barbican it was over ___ hours long.

Answer: 4

Since then the show has been cut to three hours including an interval. Many numbers have been cut, verses from songs, and a chase between Valjean and Javert.
