A small village in Cerrgonney where Jill's mother worked as a serving woman in a tavern in return for their board and keep.

2. Jill's father, Cullyn, is a member of which mercenary band?

Answer: The Silver Daggers

Not just anyone can become a silver dagger, even though in their own eyes and the eyes of others they are scum. To be pledged to the band you must prove yourself by riding with another silver dagger for a time and proving that you will not do anything to give the band a bad name.

3. Which of Rhodry's brothers had just been killed when he first met Nevyn?

Answer: Aedry

Rhys is Gwerbret of Aberwyn and very much alive throughout the book, Tingyr is the father of Rhodry and Rhys, and Blaen is Rhodry's original incarnation from right back when all the wyrds got tangled.
