Answer: Abee uses his powers

One of the more comical scenes from these books. Both Mara and Dr. Nedbar are thrown for a loop. Mara can't believe Abee would be so reckless and Dr. Nedbar can't believe he was hanging onto nothing but air above a giant chasm and yet somehow managed to live.

Answer: Namu

Namu is a machine and he is in no mood to maneuver or waste time when his target is already past this point. One look at Namu's eyes and Nedbar takes off at a speed so great that Namu wonders how a mere human can go that fast. Clearly he is oblivious to Nedbar's terror.

Answer: An android

Tick Tock is a female android sent to find Dr. Nedbar and take back the weapon he stole from the South's science lab. It was pure coincidence that Mara and Abee happened to run into her.

Answer: If they are useless, she cuts off an arm. If they lie, she'll cut off both.

She is one nasty piece of work when it comes to her mission. Tick Tock asks Mara and Abee where Dr. Nedbar is. Abee asks her "What if we don't know where he is?" Tick Tock replies, "Then you are useless and if you are useless I will cut off an arm." Mara informs her that by giving that threat, they are likely to lie.

She then tells her, "If you lie I will cut off both arms." It seems unfair that she is willing to cut off an arm just because they are of no use to her, but being useless interferes with her mission.

Answer: Sneezy

Mara thinks she's all alone, but when after she transforms, you see a dwarven nose and eyes peeking out of a hole in the rock. When they meet, he thanks her for the 'peep show'. If you look at the list before chapter 28, you'll see that he is Sneezy, #1 dwarf.

Answer: Dopey

When Mara gets drunk, she uses thunder magic, awakening Tick Tock from her system shut down. But the event caused memory loss. The first person she sees is Dopey, who she quickly assumes is her master.

Answer: Abee

Abee and Namu had arrived on the scene to save her from Tick Tock. While Namu battles Tick Tock, Abee tries to get though to the drunk Mara. When Mara is thinking about Abee, there is a picture of him in the background stating that she has a 120% crush on him. She even called Abee a gourmet pastry among a bunch of fish cake clones. Abee gets confused, thinking that she is hungry! XD

Answer: She thinks he is a clone

Mara thinks Abee died in the rock slide that Tick Tock caused earlier in the book. When she sees Abee, she thinks he is one of the clones from the West trying to trick her. What convinces her that Abee is really her Abee is when she calls Dr. Nedbar selfish, Abee takes it that she was calling Nedbar a shell fish! When he asks Mara why she is talking about fish, it dawns on her that he is the real Abee.

Answer: Combat Mode

Stage one is defense mode. Stage two is control mode. When both fail to take down Tick Tock, Namu moves on to stage three, combat mode. In this mode, he tears Tick Tock in half.

Answer: SA-24

Tick Tock is her code name. Her model name is SA-24. No one calls her this, you have to look at the opening page of chapter 30 where they tell you what it is.

Answer: Namu was damaged

Namu saved Tick Tock from falling off the cliff. When Tick Tock was questioning his mission, he told her it was Dorothy...but he forgot what he was supposed to do with Dorothy. Tick Tock then decided to take over Namu's mission since he was broken and unable.

Answer: Alexandrite

The Emerald City is in the center, Sapphire City is in the East, and Alexandrite is in the South. It is still yet to be revealed what the Cities in the North and West are called.

Answer: In Mara's cell phone

Dr. Nedbar put it there when he was fixing up Namu. That way, if he remembers his true mission, or ever goes out of control, Mara can stop him. Namu himself wants her to. Namu is a cyborg and therefore he has human emotions. He does not want to harm anyone. The switch to activate it is in her cellphone.
