Yanus was also the Sea Holder for Half Circle Sea Hold.

2. Half Circle Sea hold had a great Harper. What was his name?

Answer: Petiron

Petiron was very elderly indeed when he died. Before then, he had been training Menolly because there had been no good boys with musical talent to train to become the new Harper, and Menolly was just so good.

3. Who was Half Circle's Harper's son?

Answer: The Masterharper

Before Petiron died, he sent two of Menolly song's to his son. When he died, there was great confusion, because Petiron said it had been a boy that had written them, not a girl.

The tide was coming in, and the eggs of the queen were going to be swamped by water if they weren't moved. There wasn't enough time for her to move them all herself, for she was the only one big enough (of the fire lizards) to carry them up to higher ground.
