Sean Connell impressed bronze dragon Carenath in "Daragonsdawn". All of the other first time dragon riders thought of him as their leader. He is known as the first leader of Fort Weyr.

These two are also from "Dragonsdawn", in which Sorka Hanrahan impressed the gold dragon queen Faranth. Along with Sean they founded Fort Weyr when the dragons grew too big and too many for Fort Hold (the first hold in the north).

"Moreta: Dragon Lady of Pern" is all about Moreta riding the aging gold queen Holth (Leri's dragon), since her Queen dragon Orlith is on the hatching ground watching over her clutch of eggs. In other books of the series they are remembered in the song of "Ballad of Moreta's Ride".
4. Larth

Lytol lost his brown dragon Larth when Larth was fatally injured in the Spring Games. Later he became a Master Weaver at High Reaches Hold during Fax's time. When Fax was killed, he become acting Lord Holder of Ruatha until Jaxom grew up; after this he became one of the caretakers of AIVIS. We first read of Lytol in "Dragonflight"
5. Ruth

Again from "Dragonflight", we learn of baby Jaxom (to be Lord Holder of Ruatha), who later saves a small egg from not hatching and impresses the white dragon Ruth. Ruth is the smallest dragon and the only white dragon.
6. Ramoth

Lessa is the rider of the gold queen Ramoth. In "Dragonflight", we learn about the search for riders and how Lessa becomes Weyrwomen of Benden Weyr during the 9th pass. Lessa and Ramoth are remembered for their ride 400 years back into time, to bring the lost weyrs forward, in the "Question Song", which asks what happened to the five lost weyrs (Fort, High Reaches, Ista, Telgar and Igen). Rammoth is the largest of all the dragons of Pern.
7. Mnementh

F'lar and the bronze dragon Mnementh are first seen in "Dragonflight". F'lar becomes Weyrleader of Benden Weyr during the 1st mating flight of Ramoth when Mnementh flies her. F'lar is considered the leader of all (6 to 9 depending on the time during the 9th pass) Weyrs by the Lord Holders and Craft Masters of Pern.
8. Canth
Answer: F'nor
Also from "Dragonflight" we learn F'nor rider of brown dragon Canth, is F'lar brother. F'nor and Canth are remembered for the flight to the Red Star, the first time dragons left the planet of Pern.
9. Wirenth
Answer: Brekke
Berkke, rider of the gold queen Wirenth, is F'nor's wife. Berkke, like Lessa, can hear and speak to any Dragon. We first hear of Berkee in "Firstflight" when she is on the hatching grounds of Ramoth's first clutch of eggs. Berkke lost her dragon (from a later clutch} during the Fall of the Queens when Wirenth (along with Prideth} rose to mate for the first time.
10. Golanth
Answer: F'lessan
F'lessan (the only child of Lessa and F'nor}, impresses bronze dragon Golanth in "The White Dragon". F'lessan and Golanth are the pair that find Honshua (founded shortly after the time of landing) and rename the place Honshua Weyrhold.
