"Change of Heart" is a 2008 novel about a preteen girl named Claire Nealon who needs a heart transplant, but the only match comes from a man named Shay Bourne who is on death row for having murdered Claire's father and sister.
2. An Amish teen gives birth in secret. What's this novel named?

Answer: "Plain Truth"

"Plain Truth" is a 2000 novel about an Amish teenager Katie whose baby was born in secret. The baby dies soon after birth, and the suspect is Katie.
3. A 28-year-old engaged woman learns she was stolen as a kid. What is this book called?

Answer: "Vanishing Acts"

"Vanishing Acts" is about a 28-year-old woman named Delia Hopkins (formerly Bethany Matthews) whose father Andrew Hopkins (Charles Edward Matthews) is arresting one night for kidnapping Bethany as a child. Andrew tells Delia what he did, he goes to court, and he's declared innocent.
4. A woman sues her best friend when her daughter is born severely disabled. What's the title of this novel?

Answer: "Handle With Care"

"Handle With Care" is a 2009 novel about a 5-year-old girl named Willow O'Keefe who is born with osteogenesis imperfecta (OI). Willow's mom Charlotte sues her ob/gyn and best friend Piper, stating (and lying) that if she'd known earlier of Willow's disorder, she would've aborted her, despite the fact that Charlotte's a Catholic and abortion is a sin.

At the end of this novel, Willow drowns while skating.
5. Two teenagers plan to commit suicide together, but one lives. What's this book called?

Answer: "The Pact"

"The Pact" is a 1998 novel about Chris and Emily, two 17-year-olds who grew up together. Emily was suicidal and Chris was not. Chris tried, with no success, to convince Emily not to kill herself.
6. "Keeping Faith": who is Faith's father?

Answer: Collin White

Collin is Faith's birth father. Ian is Faith's new stepfather, Brian is Anna's father in "My Sister's Keeper" and Kurt is Claire's father in "Change of Heart." Collin, after hearing the commotion and the media's attention on his daughter, sues his ex-wife for custody of Faith, but he doesn't win.
7. "Change of Heart": in the end, does Claire accept Shay's heart?

Answer: Yes

At first, Claire doesn't want the heart since Shay killed her father and sister, and June accepts this. June later realises she can't stand to lose her other daughter, so even though Claire's not happy about it June tells Shay she accepts the heart. Claire realises, before the transplant, that she's not mad at her mom.
8. "Handle With Care": what colour does Amelia dye her hair?

Answer: Blue

After having a terrible day at school, Amelia cuts class and goes to the drugstore and steals blue hair dye. At home, she dyes her hair, but she later regrets the choice.
9. "My Sister's Keeper": what illness does Kate have?

Answer: Acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL)

Kate gets diagnosed with APL when she is two years old. Since her parents (Sara and Brian) and four-year-old brother Jesse aren't compatible donors, Sara and Brian conceive Anna, who's a perfect donor for Kate. APL is a rare form of acute myelogenous leukemia (AML).
10. "Vanishing Acts": how old is Sophie?

Answer: 5

Sophie is Delia's 5-year-old daughter. She's engaged to Eric, Sophie's father, an alcoholic, but by the end of the book the engagement is off.
