Answer: Gharis

Gharis is the father who hadn't treated his sons very well. In the second book, I recall, he eventually makes up with Luthien and Ethan before he dies.

2. Luthien has an older brother. What's his name?

Answer: Ethan

Ethan is just a more rugged version of Luthien, and more mature as well. They never name his horse in the story.

3. What is Oliver deBurrows?

Answer: A halfling

Oliver is the comedic relief in the story. I love the guy. He's got such a personality.

4. What weapon does Oliver use?

Answer: A rapier sword

He always talks about his 'trusty rapier sword'. Rapiers are long, but thin swords mainly used in fencing. Oliver is a very skilled swordsman, according to the story.

5. What's Oliver's pony's name?

Answer: Threadbare

The little yellow pony is Oliver's mighty steed.

6. What is Luthien's steed's name?

Answer: River Dancer

River Dancer is a perfect name for the white steed Luthien rides. With the imagery given from the story, you can just imagine the horse jumping from cliff to cliff with its mane in the air.

She's a warrior and an orphan. They grew up together in Dun Varna and they trained together. Eventually Luthien wins her over and chooses to love her, rather than Siobhan.

First she tries to sleep with Luthien, then with Oliver. I do not care for her character, as she frequently uses others (No offense to anyone). She can grow up to be over 200 years old because of the breed of elf she is. That's why she doesn't want a commitment from Luthien. Oliver would live longer than Luthien because he's a halfling.

As it turns out, Siobahn doesn't live as long as she thought she would.

10. True or false: Luthien gets kicked out of the castle for being naughty.

Answer: False

He goes to find his brother Ethan, who leaves the castle after the unfair killing of Garth Rogar in the begging tournament. It is good to see the brothers reunited again.
