Answer: Mouse

Mouse is a Foo dog that Harry saves at the beginning of the book. The notched ear pup stows away in Harry's car.

Harry goes to Oklahoma to stop the storm sylph as a favor for the new Summer Lady Lily.

As Harry is pulling up to the guard shack he hears a squeaky bark. Harry sends out his magical senses to see where the bark came from, but instead of finding the dog he finds that the guard isn't a guard but a Black Court vampire. Harry reaches into his center console and pulls out the water balloon filled with holy water and smashes it on the face of the vampire.
