Tauran is tasked with obtaining the unborn child of a demon. This occurs in the midst of a raging battle between the goodly forces of Tyr, Torm and Ilmater and the forces of evil.

2. What is the name of the city the Kaanyr Vhok is seeking to conquer?

Answer: Sundabar

Kaanyr has an insatiable desire to conquer Sundabar and usurp its leader Helm Dwarf-Friend. He has tried and failed on numerous occasions to achieve this. Now, however, he has a new plan and new allies to finally complete his objective.

3. Is Kaanyr Vhok's mother human?

Answer: No

In fact his mother, Mulvassyss, was a true marilith demon. She was the leader of the Scoured Legion before Kaanyr murdered her and took her place.

Kaanyr has an audience with Nahaunglaroth, one of two brothers who rule Doomspire.
The great dragon agrees to lend aid to Vhok's quest. Nahaunglaroth's nephew, Myshik, is sent to join up with Kaanyr in the Underdark below Sundabar. Myshik is a half-breed, half-dragon and half-hobgoblin.

Zasian and three other assailants bring Aliisza low. She is dealt a mighty blow to the head. When she awakens she finds herself in the presence of Tauran in the House of the Triad, apparently dead.

Answer: To allow Kaanyr to use the Everfire as a portal to the elemental plane of fire.

The attack is used to distract the dwarfs so that Vhok, Zasian and Myshik, who takes the place of Vhok's lieutenant, Lysalis, to journey to the realm of fire. Rorgak is left in charge of the assault by Vhok while he is gone. Lysalis lost her life while helping Kaanyr to fight his way to the Everfire.

Kaanyr takes some severe injuries in the battle with the gigantic creature. However, it is Myshik who finally gets close enough to deliver the fatal blow to the body of the multi-headed monster.

Vhok advises Kurtle that the shelter may not have a suitable environment for him to rest in. The other three spend a relaxing night within the shelter. It turns out to be an extra-dimensional pocket containing a mansion, complete with servants to attend to all their needs.

Vhok and Aliisza awaken to find themselves in the presence of a battered Tauran and Aliisza's son Kael. Aliisza fears that the duo will be put to death by the goodly Tauran; he surprises her by pleading for her help.
