Two-Bit and Ponyboy went to visit Dally and Johnny. Johnny asked if he could have another copy of "Gone With The Wind" because the other copy they had burned in the fire.

Johnny and Ponyboy were talking, when a nurse came in telling Johnny that his mother wanted to see him. Johnny said he didn't want to see her and soon passed out.

While Two-Bit and Ponyboy were on their way home, Two-Bit started talking about Darry. He said that Darry seemed really strict with Ponyboy and that the only thing that kept Darry from being a Soc was the gang.
