Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. "She's scrawny but she's strong. Her last baby, came out sideways, she didn't scream or nothin'."

Answer: Planes, Trains, and Automobiles

Owen (Dylan Baker) says this to Neal and Del (Steve Martin and John Candy) when he offers his wife's assistance getting Del's trunk into his pick-up truck. Baker's brief appearance as the motel owners' son is one of the many memorable scenes in this great 1987 comedy.
2. "Good thing I have this hairnet on. I'd hate to get a stray hair in the booger!"

Answer: Bruce Almighty

Jim Carrey plays a television reporter who usually gets stuck with the "fluff" stories instead of the hard hitting news. This line comes early in the movie when Carrey's character, Bruce Nolan, is taping a feature for the evening news about a local bakery making Buffalo, New York's biggest cookie.

His producer forces Bruce to wear a hairnet for sanitary purposes, but the baker seems more interested in picking his nose than being interviewed.
3. "The less I eat, the fatter I get."

Answer: The Full Monty

"The Full Monty", released in 1997, is about six unemployed steelworkers who decide to put together a striptease act and go "The Full Monty", meaning totally nude. Mark Addy plays Dave, the heaviest of the six, and delivers this line when they gather together to work on their act.
4. "I just love naked women. It's a character flaw, I know."

Answer: Striptease

Congressman David Dilbeck (Burt Reynolds) says this to his assistant as they discuss his fondness for strip clubs and strippers. Demi Moore stars as Erin Grant, the object of the congressman's affection. With this movie, Moore became the first woman to make over $10 million for a single film.
5. "Gentlemen. You can't fight in here. This is the War Room!"

Answer: Dr. Strangelove

President Merkin Muffley (Peter Sellers) says this to the officers in the war room in this 1964 dark comedy, which has a full title of "Dr. Strangelove: or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb". Sellers plays three roles in the movie: President Muffley, Capt. Lionel Mandrake, and Dr. Strangelove himself.
6. "Looks like I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue."

Answer: Airplane!

This is one of a string of vices Steven McCrosky (Lloyd Bridges) was apparently trying to quit that week. McCrosky was part of the ground crew trying to help an ex-fighter pilot land an ill fated passenger plane in this 1980 parody of disaster films. Bridges' character was also trying to quit smoking, drinking coffee, and popping pills.
7. "When you have insomnia, you're never really asleep...and you're never really awake."

Answer: Fight Club

Ed Norton says this as the narrator of this 1999 movie, which also stars Brad Pitt and Helena Bonham Carter. Norton plays a disillusioned man who suffers from insomnia.
8. "Laugh it up, fuzzball."

Answer: The Empire Strikes Back

Han Solo (Harrison Ford) says this to Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew) in this 1980 sequel to "Star Wars", both of which were produced by George Lucas. Ford had essentially given up on acting when he landed the role of Han Solo. Ford was doing some work as a carpenter near George Lucas' office when Lucas arrived to give Richard Dreyfuss an audition for the part of Han Solo.

After the Dreyfuss audition, Lucas asked Ford if he would be interested in trying out for the part too.
9. "I got two guns, one for the each of ya."

Answer: Tombstone

Doc Holliday (Val Kilmer) says this during a stand-off after one of the Cowboys says, "He's so drunk he's probably seeing double." Kilmer steals every scene in this 1993 western. Disregarded as a popcorn movie by some critics, "Tombstone" does take some liberties with historical facts, but has proved to be a very entertaining movie with a strong following.
10. "I am decent. I also happen to be naked."

Answer: The Goodbye Girl

Elliot Garfield (Richard Dreyfuss) says this to Paula McFadden (Marsha Mason). He announced that he was decent before she walked into his bedroom to find him naked and playing the guitar. This 1977 Neil Simon romantic comedy received Academy Award nominations for Best Picture, Best Original Screenplay, Best Supporting Actress (Quinn Cummings), and Best Actress (Mason). Dreyfuss won the Academy Award for Best Actor.
