Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. 'Truffle Shuffle', pirates:

Answer: The Goonies

Mouth makes Chunk do the 'truffle shuffle' before they open the gate at Mikey's house. There are no live pirates in the movie of course. But One-Eyed Willie is a pirate, the Goonies are searching for a pirate's treasure and find a pirate ship with pirate skeletons on it.
2. Detention, janitor, elephant lamp:

Answer: The Breakfast Club

The joke that Judd Nelson is telling as he escapes his solitary confinement has no punch line. That always drove me nuts! 'Girl walks into a bar with a poodle under one arm and ...' The kids are in detention on a Saturday, there is a cool janitor and Brian Johnson tells a story about how he couldn't make an elephant lamp in shop.
3. Medula oblongota, football:

Answer: The Waterboy

Adam Sandler goes from being the waterboy to a football player. He learns about the medula oblongota from a professor who looks like Colonel Sanders.
4. Polo, Stuckey, Lotus, Blue Banana:

Answer: Pretty Woman

Vivian and Edward attend a polo match, Stuckey is Edward's lawyer played by Jason Alexander and Edward picks up Vivian while driving a Lotus. The Blue Banana was the name of the club that Viv's roommate Kit hung out at.

Funny scene in the movie where Moira Kelly's character keeps reminding D.B. Sweeney's character about the toe pick. They are trying to make it to the Olympics in pair's figure skating.
7. Owls, goblins, train:

Answer: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

'Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone' (or 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone'). Wonder why they changed it to Sorceror's for us Americans. Whatever. Owls deliver the mail, goblins work at Gringott's Bank and the little wizards and witches take the train (Hogwart's Express) to Hogwart's School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

9. Crocodile, Maine, cow, eccentric millionaire:

Answer: Lake Placid

There is a crocodile in a lake in Maine, they use a cow, hanging from a helicopter, to catch the croc. 'Looks like a giant tea bag.' Oliver Platt is hilarious in this movie as the eccentric millionaire who likes to swim with crocodiles. Betty White is equally hilarious as a foul-mouthed kooky old woman who lives on the lake.
10. Swamp, Gingerbread man, dragon, onions:

Answer: Shrek

Shrek lives in a swamp and saves the Princess from a dragon. My favorites scene is where Lord Farquaad is interrogating the Gingerbread man. 'Do you know the muffin man?' 'The muffin man?' 'The muffin man' Hilarious! The onions clue comes from a conversation between donkey and Shrek, comparing Shrek to an onion (they both have layers).

Answer: Adventures in Babysitting

Chris Parker (Elisabeth Shue) is babysitting the Sara and Brad Anderson (and Brad's friend Daryl). She must go to the city to rescue her friend Brenda from a bus station.
