She was an assistant animal surgeon at the veterinary hospital. While she did know how to sew and made her own clothes, she did not earn a living from it.

Her mother made Suzie for May and had given it to her for her birthday. She cherished this doll very much, and often spoke to her as if she was a real person.

This lazy eye caused May to be a social outcast, which made her suffer a lonely childhood. When she became an adult, she went to an eye doctor and got glasses, then contact lenses to correct the problem.

May stabbed Adam in the stomach right after she stabbed his female friend named Hoop in the head. She had also used her scalpels earlier to slit Polly's throat, then stabbed Ambrosia. By now, May had lost her mind and was on a murderous rampage, pretty much killing almost everyone she felt had wronged her in some way.

May realized that her new friend, which she had named Amy (an anagram of "May"), couldn't see her. So she had decided to gouge out her own lazy eye and placed it on Amy so she could look at her. While poor, miserable, lonely May lay there next to her friend and cried, Amy's hand (Adam's)had reached over and touched May's face. May lay there smiling, as she was content that she finally had someone she could call her true friend!
