Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. "You are a God among insects. Don't let anybody tell you differently."

Answer: X2: X-Men United

This is Magneto (Ian McKellen) talking to Pyro (Aaron Stanford) about his mutation, implying that the mutants are gods and humans are ants. A movie where the sequel was actually even better than the original.
2. Person 1: "Look into those pretty brown eyes and tell me, yes or no?" Person 2: "Yes." Person 1: "NO!"

Answer: The Matrix

This is when Cypher (Joe Pantoliano) is talking to Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss) about Neo (Keanu Reeves). Cypher has just betrayed them and is asking Trinity if she believes that Neo is "the one." This is one of my favorite movies of all time. It basically revolutionized the way that movies are made, with computer graphics, and special effects.

Not to mention just the concept of the movie is amazing.
3. "You and I are in love with two very different women."

Answer: Sweet Home Alabama

This is when Jake (Josh Lucas) brings Andrew (Patrick Dempsey) to Melanie (Reese Witherspoon). Andrew is Melanie's fiance, and Jake is her husband, and Jake realizes that she has changed completely since they were married. I especially liked this movie because although it was a typical story, it didn't have a typical ending. Usually when a girl has to decide between two guys, one of them ends up being a jerk and the decision is easy. I like this because it's a hard decision for her.
4. "Oh I'll help! Yeah, right. 'Cause you know I'm just going to let you walk right out of here and spoil everything."

Answer: Josie and the Pussycats

This is Parkey Posey, quite possibly one of the funniest people ever! She plays Fiona, the mastermind of a conspiracy to brainwash the teens of America. Josie (Rachael Leigh Cook) is asking Alexandra and Alexander Cabot to help her, and Fiona runs in and gives this unforgettable line. If you haven't seen this movie, you really need to.
5. "I don't hear my children."

Answer: Signs

This is when Graham Hess (Mel Gibson) is examining the corn field with Officer Paski (Cherry Jones). He suddenly stops, listening intently, and Office Paski asks, "What's the matter, Father?" Although this movie was more Hitchcock than Shyamalan, I thoroughly enjoyed it. It had the perfect blend of suspense and humor. I think it's one of the most well made films I've ever seen.
6. Person 1: "Where am I supposed to go?" Person 2: "I don't know." Person 1: "You don't know or you don't care?" Person 2: "Pick one!"

Answer: X-Men

This is when Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) discovers Rogue (Anna Paquin) in the back of his trailer. He tells her to get out and is preparing to leave her in the middle of nowhere. Who can resist Hugh Jackman in a leather jacket? This movie is very entertaining, with great character development, even though there are quite a few characters. The sequel is even better.
7. "And I really do want world peace."

Answer: Miss Congeniality

This is the last line of the movie, when they award Gracie (Sandra Bullock) the award for Miss Congeniality from the Miss United States pageant. Sandra Bullock is the queen of romantic comedies. This is a particularly good one, with a lot of humor and of course, Benjamin Bratt!
8. "I bow down to the King of scams."

Answer: Drive Me Crazy

This is when Nicole (Melissa Joan Hart) and Chase (Adrian Grenier) are leaving the basketball game. Nicole is applauding Chase's fabulous perfomance, hanging out with the cool people and acting like he cares about the game. Although a lot of teen movies leave much to be desired, this one is actually quite entertaining, if you can get past staring at Melissa Joan Hart's lazy eye.
9. "Most things in here don't react too well to bullets."

Answer: The Hunt for Red October

This is when Captain Ramius (Sean Connery) and Jack Ryan (Alec Baldwin) are searching the ship for the sabateur who had shot at them. Ramius has been shot, so Ryan goes off looking for the culprit. Ramius tells Ryan to be careful, because the room is full of nuclear warheads.

The beginning of a trilogy of three amazing movies, this one has a different Jack Ryan than the other two: Alec Baldwin. Rumor has it they dropped him after the first movie because he was too hard to work with. Lucky for us, then we got Harrison Ford.
10. "I'm still just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her."

Answer: Notting Hill

This is after Anna Scott (Julia Roberts) asks William Thacker (Hugh Grant) if he could ever like her again, and he says no because he doesn't want to get his heart broken again. Then she says, "The fame thing isn't really real, you know." Hugh Grant does an excellent job of playing the bumbling non-famous Brit. It's as if that role was written for him.
