1. Martha, the sister who takes care of Pauline, has a monochromatic house. What color is her house?

Answer: brown

The only other color is the red on the jam jar. Martha dies in the beginning of the movie leaving poor Pauline without someone to care for her. Her will stipulates that if a sister doesn't take in Pauline, only Pauline will inherit anything.

2. Paulette's house is done in mostly what two colors?

Answer: pink and red

Her entire shop is red-- very different from her sister, but she's also a very different person. She taught Pauline to cut her own bread! It was so adorable!

3. What does Pauline spend a lot of her time doing, aside from worship Paulette?

Answer: watering people's flowers

She even wakes up with a watering can by her bed. She did go to the butcher for her sisters, but I think she really spent most of her day watering flowers. She got paid in money, cookies, and drinks.

I was surprised that the people where very nice there. It was one of those things where you expected them to really be abusive, but they weren't.
