Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In "Teen Wolf", what is NOT one of the coach's three rules for life that he gave to Scotty?

Answer: "Never let the IRS get involved in your personal life."

"You follow these three things, everything else is cream cheese."
Scott is a on a struggling basketball team. He is desperately seeking another girl who doesn't seem to notice him, and who is dating the captain of the rival basketball team, that is until he begins turning into a wolf. Once this change occurs and everybody accepts it, Scott turns into the most liked and talked about person in town. He gets the girl and the basketball team is doing great, but soon he longs for normality.
2. What classic blunder, according to Vizzini, in "The Princess Bride" is only slightly less well known than "Never get involved in a land war in Asia?"

Answer: "Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line."

This was said shortly before Vizzini died from wine poisoned with Iocaine powder. In the movie we learn that "Iocaine comes from Australia" and is "odorless, tasteless, dissolves instantly in water and is among the most deadly poisons in the world." Westley had developed an immunity to Iocaine powder and poisoned both his cup and Vizzini's cup. Vizzini was played by the always brilliant Wallace Shawn. In "The Princess Bride," a kindly grandfather sits down with his sick grandson and reads him a bedtime story.

The story has been passed down from father to son for generations. The story is a classic tale of love and adventure, as the beautiful Buttercup is kidnapped and held against her will in order to marry the odious Prince Humperdinck. Westley (her childhood beau, now returned as the Dread Pirate Roberts) attempts to save her. On the way he meets a Spaniard, who is an accomplished swordsman and a super strong giant, both of whom become his companions in his quest.
3. Who told Peter Parker "With great power comes great responsibility?"

Answer: Uncle Ben

Uncle Ben said this before Peter went to the wrestling match. When Peter came back, he found Uncle Ben dying from a gunshot that was inflicted by the burglar Peter let get away. It was a painful lesson to learn, but one not easily forgotten.

Peter Parker gets bitten by a genetically enhanced spider and gains superpowers. He uses these powers to fight crime after his Uncle Ben is killed. His best friend's father, Norman Osbourne, takes an experimental drug and also gains superpowers at the expense of his sanity. He uses these powers for his own personal gain.
4. In "A New Hope", who said "The Force will be with you, always"?

Answer: Obi-Wan Kenobi

It is often mistaken that Obi-Wan said "May the Force be with you." This is one of the most misquoted movie lines in history. Another one is Darth Vader's "No, I am your father" for "Luke, I am your father."

In Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, The Galactic Republic is but a distant memory thanks to the ubiquitous presence of the Evil Galactic Empire. Luke Skywalker, a lone farmboy and his two droids go on an intergalactic adventure with Obi-Wan Kenobi, who is a Jedi Master and knowledgable in the ways of the Force. They meet up with Han Solo and Chewbacca, a space pirate and his wookie companion. Together they rescue the beautiful Princess Leia from the clutches of the evil Sith Lord Darth Vader. They then help the rebellion stage an attack to destroy the dreaded Death Star, a space station with the capacity to destroy an entire planet!
5. According to "Howard the Duck", What kind of Master should you never mess with?

Answer: A master of Quack-Fu

This was said by Howard himself several times in this fantastically underrated movie. Whether or not he is a master of Quack-Fu is never revealed in the movie.

A sarcastic humanoid duck is pulled from his homeworld to Earth, where he must join together with a rock star and a scientist to stop an alien invader.
6. In "Men at Work", Louis told Carl that "there are several sacred things in this world that you don't ever mess with." What does one of them happen to be?

Answer: "Another man's fries"

This was said in a diner after Charlie Sheen (Carl) and Keith David (Louis) had an altercation and made up. Carl reached for the fries and Louis grabbed Carl's hand. After giving the "sacred things" speech you hear Carl's hand crack and the fries drop. I love this scene!

Carl and James are two pleasant but unambitious garbage men. Carl has a telescope with which he observes the woman living across the street from him. One evening he sees a man giving her a hard time. As she leaves he shoots the man with a pellet gun. Hiding, he and James miss two mobsters strangling the man and leaving with the body. When he appears in a can on their route they are afraid and hide the body, fearing that they may be implicated in the death. Trying to crack the case, they spy on the woman, join up with a majorly crazed vietnam vet, kidnap a pizza man and help to protect the ecology.
7. According to Doctor Otto Octavius, what must you read to a woman to make her fall in love with you?

Answer: Poetry

This was said when Peter first met Doctor Octavius and his loving wife Rosalie in "Spider-Man 2".

Peter Parker's double life as the superhero Spider-Man is having a devastating impact on his civilian life. Things are so bad that he starts losing his powers. He then declares that he's quitting, and decides to never put on the suit again. However, his sense of duty forces him to become a hero again, when the brilliant scientist, Dr. Otto Octavius, is deformed in an accident and becomes Dr. Octopus. With four metal tentacles sticking out of his back, he'll prove to be a more than worthy opponent for Spider-Man.
8. In "The Karate Kid", what is Daniel's answer when Mister Miyagi asks him "Why train?"

Answer: "So I won't have to fight"

Daniel came to this revelation when he was practicing his kata on the bow of the boat. This was also shortly before Mr. Miyagi pushed him into the water. This revelation was important to him because he finally learned that what he was doing was as much for his self-growth as it was for his self-defense.

A handyman/martial arts master agrees to teach a bullied boy karate and shows him that there is more than fighting to the martial art.
9. In "Bill And Ted's Excellent Adventure", Ted quoted the band Poison when they first meet Socrates?

Answer: False

He quoted Kansas. "All we are is dust in the wind, dude." Poison was quoted at the pearly gates in Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey.

Best friends Bill S. Preston, Esquire and Ted "Theodore" Logan are in danger of being separated and having their band, Wyld Stalyns broken up because they're failing history. Luckily, a time traveler from the future gives them a telephone booth so they can travel through time and ace their history report. Hilarity ensues along with the adventure of a lifetime.
10. According to "The Lost Boys," why should you never let a vampire enter your house?

Answer: It renders you powerless

This was discovered at the end of the movie when Max reveals himself to be the head vampire, shortly before Michael pushes him in front of the wooden post uprooted by Grandpa's truck.

A mother and her two sons move from Phoenix, Arizona to Santa Carla, California to live with her father. While there the boys experience strange things, which leads the younger of the two to believe that vampires are in the area.
