Later in the movie, Link takes John out to "Doctor Dance" for one of their dance party nights. Link has an incident there where one of the other dancers takes his wig off him, and his dance partner criticizes his fake tan.

As the private investigator follows John around, we see him becoming greatly impressed with what John is doing at the dance school, and in the competition. John and Bobbie dance the ballroom dances, the waltz and the quickstep. It is Bobbie and Link who dance the Latin dances, as Link already knows the moves. During the second Latin dance, the Paso Doble, Link removes his wig and gains a lot more freedom in his dancing.

Miss Mitzi steels her nerves by taking a little drink from her private cupboard before putting on a smile and greeting the three men attending the beginners' class. She asks the men if they are disappointed that their teacher is an older women, to which Chic first responds with "yes", and then changes his answer to be polite.

This is one of the funniest scenes in the movie. The dance contest is getting close and Link is helping John to get his steps right, as Link is more experienced. However, as no one in the office knows that they are into ballroom dancing, the two men come up with this quick reaction when their colleague comes in.
