Question 1 of 10
1. (1967) Mark Thackeray only took a teaching position until he could find a job as an engineer. He soon realized that what his rowdy, undisciplined class, in London's east end, really needed were lessons in respect, and how to get by in the real world. By the time graduation rolled around, his class adored him, and he had an offer of an engineering position. He tore it up though, because he realized that he'd found his true calling in life. Hint

2. (1963) Annie Hayworth (played by Suzanne Pleshette) was the school teacher in the one room schoolhouse in Bodega Bay, when socialite Melanie Daniels brought that pair of love birds to town. Under McLeod's tutelage Nick passes the entrance exam, but also learns some valuable lessons about life and trust. Hint

4. (2001) Paragons of the community, she teaches choir at the local high school, and he is the town doctor. But when their only son becomes involved with an older woman, and is killed by her ex-husband, they are not willing to sit back and let the killer get away with it. He's the one who actually kills his son's murderer, but she certainly pushes him into it - although neither of them seem to derive a great deal of satisfaction from their act of vengeance. Hint

Carpe diem! Hint
