The Frost Giants are large, blue fictional beings from the Marvel comic books, again mainly in the 'Thor' ones, but they can also be found in some others.

Thor's hammer has magical abilities and is the source of his godly powers. The idea is taken from the 'Thor' Marvel comic books. Thor's father, Odin, sends the Mjollnir to Earth with Thor but enchants it so that he cannot wield it until he proves himself worthy.

Pop Tarts are a sweet treat consisting of thin pastry layers and a juicy filling. Various fillings are available, including chocolate, apple and raspberry. They are made by the famous cereal company, Kellogs and originate from the United States. Thor comically eats the ten boxes and then shocks Darcy by claiming that he's still hungry.

Darcy (played by Kat Dennings) tasers Thor at the crash site where he landed on Earth; she says that he was freaking her out. It's a hilarious moment in the film. Thor is confused at how the humans are reacting towards him and cannot understand why they don't respect him as a king, like his people do.

A taser gun sends an electric shock through your body, causing your muscles to spasm involuntarily which is why you fall over and appear to be having a seizure. Taser guns are commonly seen in the police force, where they are used as a defence weapon.
