According to their label bio, the two lovebirds dropped out of Juilliard art school and spent two long years together traveling the country. They reportedly lived in San Fransisco, Portland, Oregon, and Boston, before settling in the Philly area.

Queens of the Stone Age are also a rock/heavy metal band with hits like "Feel Good Hit of the Summer" and "In My Head". The Burning Brides are known as a band very similar to Queens of the Stone Age music.

File 13 was a local recording company and so the Brides signed up with the label. The band then kicked off a U.S. Tour with musicians/groups such as Zen Guerilla, J. Mascis, and the Greenhornes. They were also building a steady fan base at their live shows.

The re-release of the album gained media attention, and thus gave the Brides some popularity. The NME ("New Musical Express" a magazine published weekly since 1952) loved it and rated the album a five out of five.

"Leave No Ashes" wasn't as successful as "Fall of the Plastic Empire" but their fans still liked it. Hit songs off of the album included "Alternative Teenage Suicide", "Vampire Waltz", and "King of Demimonde". However,the most favorite song of the album was the hit single "Heart Full of Black" which got some radio airplay.

The song was used in the hit 2005 videogame "Guitar Hero 2". In the game, you could play the riff and rock out loud. "Heart Full of Black" was also featured on the videogame "Burnout 3".

The new album is planned to release on February 13, 2007. Hits off of the new album can be heard on the Burning Brides official myspace page, the hit songs are "San Diego" and "Your Nation Will Die". The Brides are a new up-and-coming band and they are very under-rated, in my opinion.
