Both movies had a mostly musical soundtrack. However, on the studio version of the soundtrack, is a song titled "Galaxy A-Go-Go", credited to Jerry Goldsmith and Randy Newman. He made it to the top spot in 1966 with "The Poor Side of Town". Between 1964 and 1977 Johnny Rivers placed 30 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 with 10 of them reaching the top ten. "Man in A Suitcase" starred Richard Bradford as an ex CIA operative turned Private Eye.

Cyd Charise (Her voice dubbed by Vicki Carr) was a beautiful dancer who graced musicals from 1944 through 1965, notably in "Singing in The Rain and "The Bandwagon". She was married 60 years to Actor/Crooner Tony Martin. "The Silencers" was the first of four movies starring Dean Martin as Matt Helm.
The other movies were, "The Ambushers", "The Wrecking Crew" and "Murderers Row".

Nancy Sinatra featured in "The Last of The Secret Agents" which was another spy spoof movie starring Marty Allen and Steve Rossi. The title song did not fare well on the charts, released as the A side of the single, disc jockeys preferred the flipside, "How Does That Grab You Darlin'", which due to much airplay became the hit.

Recorded and performed by Louis Armstrong,"We Have All The Time In The World" was the love theme for "On Her Majesty's Secret Service". This was the sixth James Bond feature film and the first without Sean Connery. Barry Nelson was the first person to portray bond on the screen.

This was in 1954 for the "Climax" television play of "Casino Royale". Bob Holness portrayed Bond on radio in a South African broadcast in 1956 of "Moonraker". Sean Connery started the movie franchise in his 1962 portrayal of James Bond in "Dr No"

"Goldfinger" in 1964, a big hit for Bassey in Europe and the USA. This recording has been inducted into the Grammy hall of Fame. Although not used in the film Shirley Bassey recorded "Mr Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang" for Thunderball but the song was turned down in favour of "Thunderball" to be sung over the opening credits by Tom Jones. Shirley sang the theme for the "Bond" films "Diamonds are Forever" and "Moonraker"

"Strangers In The Night" was featured throughout the movie without lyrics. The movie also starring Melina Mercouri and set in Lisbon, concerned Garner being mistaken for an MI5 operative. The music of composer Bert Kampfert had lyrics added by Charles Singleton and Eddie Snyder and was turned into a standard by Frank Sinatra.

The song was Sinatra's first number one on the pop charts for eleven years and earned him a grammy in 1967 for best male pop performance of 1966 and also record of the year.

All the ladies given as options recorded the song, however Dusty Springfield performed it in the movie and enjoyed a top ten hit with her recording. As of 2015 the song has been recorded by over 200 different artists making it one of the most recorded songs of all time.

The movie "Casino Royale" was originally intended to be faithful to Ian Fleming's story, but contractual differences and legal problems with the owners of the other James Bond films resulted in a rewrite and the film was changed to a send up of the genre. Peter Sellers, David Niven and Woody Allen all played James Bond.

The film was poorly received at the time of its release, with one critic calling it "a criminal waste of talent". All these years later it holds up really well.
