Ringo quickly added "And that's no lie, it's the truth", whereby Paul said, "It's the truth."
The interviewer then said "You know, I think he missed."
John piped up and said, "Nope."
George added, "No, he didn't. No."
Ringo finished off by saying, "You should have seen him the day before."
2. In San Francisco, a reporter asked why they started their tour in San Francisco. Who said "We don't plan the tours. They're planned for us, you see. RINGO: "Well, you'd better ask someone else. I don't know."
JOHN: "We don't plan the tours. They're planned for us, you see. We just say we don't want to go to, sort of, Buh-boo-boo land... and we leave the rest of the world open. It's all planned for us with a hearty, healthy Hey! Jolly good."

In the interview the statement "It is said that you got your hairdo from Oliver Twist" came up. It was George Harrison who replied "No, we didn't. We didn't know Oliver Twist had a Beatle haircut." Paul added his comment of, "No, it's just a rumor." The interviewer then asked how often they got their hair cut and George remarked, "It just depends. Usually about once every blue moon." When asked "What do you expect to find here in Australia?" Paul jokingly replied, "Ahh, Australians I should think." This was during an interview on June 11, 1964. It was pouring rain and the Beatles were paraded atop a flatbed truck. They were wearing caped coats that they had bought while they were in Hong Kong a few days earlier.

The funny thing is that these caped coats stained their bodies a pale blue as the rains soaked the Beatles. Their clothing hid the discoloration, while they were in public, fortunately.
