Pippi Longstocking, her best known character, was translated into many different languages. A few other good books by the Swedish author are:
"Emil Gets into Mischief", "Children of Noisy Village", "The World's Best Karlson".
2. International bestseller Cornelia Funke created the "Inkheart" trilogy amongst others, but which is her native country?

Answer: Germany

Funke is hailed as an international bestseller, so not many avid readers know she is really from Germany. She wrote the "Inkheart Trilogy", "Dragonrider" and "The Thief Lord". "Inkheart" and "The Thief Lord" have been made into good movies.
