1 Kings 11:42,43 "Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel forty years. Then he rested with his fathers and was buried in the city of David his father. And Rehoboam his son succeeded him as king." (New International Version). Solomon took many foreign wives and they led him astray.

Genesis 5: 28,29 "When Lamech had lived 182 years, he had a son. He named him Noah and said, 'He will comfort us in the labor and painful toil of our hands caused by the ground the LORD has cursed.'" (New International Version). Shem, Ham and Japheth were Noah's sons.

Answer: Elkanah and Hannah

Samuel was the judge who anointed Saul. 1 Samuel 10:1 "Then Samuel took a flask of oil and poured it on Saul's head and kissed him, saying, 'Has not the LORD anointed you leader over his inheritance?'"(New International Version). Samuel's mother, Hannah, was barren for many years before the Lord answered her prayers for a child. 1 Samuel 1:19-20 "Early the next morning they arose and worshiped before the LORD and then went back to their home at Ramah. Elkanah lay with Hannah his wife, and the LORD remembered her. So in the course of time Hannah conceived and gave birth to a son.

She named him Samuel, saying, 'Because I asked the LORD for him.'"(New International Version).

Taking fifty men of Gilead with him, he assassinated Pekahiah, along with Argob and Arieh, in the citadel of the royal palace at Samaria. So Pekah killed Pekahiah and succeeded him as king." (New International Version). Pekahiah was the king that Pekah conspired against, Menahem was Pekahiah's father and Azariah was king of Judah at this time.
