During his career with the Raiders, he amassed a total of 4,792 yards and 12 touchdowns with an astounding average of 4.9 yards per carry. During the 1996 NFL season, he led the NFL with a yard per carry average of 5.8. Kaufman retired in 2000 to become a Christian minister.
8. Which Oakland Raider was known as the "Ghost"?

Answer: Dave Casper

Dave Casper was prominent in two of the most famous plays in Raider history: The Holy Roller and the Ghost to the Post. The Holy Roller took place on September 10, 1978 against the San Diego Chargers when QB Ken Stabler, with seconds left on the clock, intentionally fumbled the ball forward. After RB Pete Banaszak tossed the ball forward again, Casper kicked the ball into the end zone and recovered it in the end zone for the game-winning touchdown. As a result of this play, it is illegal to intentionally fumble the football forward in such a manner during a game.

The memorable Ghost to the Post play occurred during a 1977 divisional playoff game against the Colts which went into double overtime. To force overtime, Casper caught a 42-yard pass to set up a game-tying field goal. Casper caught another pass, this time a 10-yard touchdown reception, to win the game for the Raiders in the double overtime period.

Dave Casper was elected to the NFL Hall of Fame in 2002.
9. Who was the head coach for the Raiders in the 2003 Super Bowl?

Answer: Bill Callahan

Following the departure of Jon Gruden the year before, Bill Callahan led the Raiders to an AFC best 11-5 record and an appearance in Super Bowl XXXVII against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, led by former Raider coach Jon Gruden. Unfortunately, distractions caused by center Barrett Robbins bizarre disappearance almost the entire week before the game and Gruden's intimate knowledge of the Raiders' tendencies, playbook, and audibles, the Raiders were defeated by a score of 48-21.
10. Who did the Raiders draft with the #1 pick in the 2007 draft?

Answer: Jamarcus Russell

A standout QB at LSU, Jamarcus Russell was drafted by the Oakland Raiders with the #1 pick. After a lengthy contract holdout in which he missed training camp and several games of his rookie season, he finally threw his first touchdown pass on December 23, 2007 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
