Answer: Alex Rodriguez

In his 9th season in baseball, and his 2nd with the Texas Rangers, Alex smacked 57 big ones in 2002. In both Ranger seasons, he hit over 50 home runs. The other three listed are pitchers.
2. What manager was inducted into the Hall of Fame, but did not retire until 13 seasons later?

Answer: Connie Mack

Mack was inducted into the Hall in 1937, but continued to manage until he retired in 1950. He managed for a total of 53 seasons. The others listed, were Los Angeles Lakers in the 1960s.
3. What player had the nickname, "Double X"?

Answer: Jimmie Foxx

Also known as the 'Beast', Foxx played mainly for the Philadelphia Athletics of the American League, along with the Boston Red Sox. After 20 seasons and 534 home runs, he retired in 1945.
4. Which of the following teams did Reggie Jackson NOT play for?

Answer: Rangers

Reggie never donned the uniform of Texas. He began his career in 1967 as a Kansas City Athletic, before the team moved to Oakland the following year. After 10 seasons with the A's, he played one season with the Orioles in 1976, then the Yankees, and moved to the Halo country in 1982. He retired in an Oakland uniform in 1987, where he hit his final 15, of his 563 career home runs.

The Rookie of the Year Award is only given in a player's rookie season. The Bird did well with the Tigers in 1976. As a rookie, he won the award by going 19-9 with 24 complete games. He was also the runner-up for the Cy Young award.
