Hammerin' Hank spent two years in Milwaukee to finish off his career when he retired at 42. While he hit only 22 home runs in Milwaukee as a Brewer, the rest of his career is an entirely different story.

After 12 amazing years with the St. Louis Cardinals, Hornsby was traded to the New York Giants. The next year he went to Boston. The very next year he was shuttled off to Chicago. Though they must have thought Hornsby past his prime, in his first year in Chicago he hit his career-high 47 home runs, played his career-high 156 games, and scored his career-high 156 runs.

The same year he had his career-high 65 strikeouts.

Fox previously had 65 hits in his three years with Philadelphia, but in his 14 years with Chicago, he would get 2470 more. From 1957 to 1960 he would get three gold gloves and the American League MVP Award, which was quite an improvement after the trade.
