Answer: Gautam Gambhir & Virender Sehwag

The Delhi opening pair were the home boys. Unluckily, Sehwag failed to score high in his home ground, scoring only 1. Rahul Dravid also didn't pass up, out on 11. Tendulkar made a brilliant 68.

By this time, Gautam Gambhir had got his double ton but failed because he stuck with a controversy with Shane Watson. Laxman had reached his 50. He later made a double ton which finished the innings at 613/7 declared. Once again, Mitchell Johnson was the leading wicket taker with 3-142.
