Keith Bogans was the leader of one of the best team's in the 2002-2003 college basketball season, Kentucky. Bogans was the starting shooting guard. Banks was a graduate of UNLV. He is a point guard. He draws comparisons with Baron Davis, because both are short, athletic passers, and both are also explosive scorers. Banks was drafted using Memphis' 14th overall pick they traded for.

Nick Collison was drafted 12th overall by the Seattle Sonics. He was chosen for the 2004 United States Olympic basketball team because he has a lot of international experience. Collison was a steady power forward for the University of Kansas.

Mo Williams was an excellent offensive player at 6'1". He was drafted by the Jazz to replace the retiring John Stockton. Mo is a good leader and did an excellent job distributing the ball to his teamates at Alabama. Mo was also an excellent baseball pitcher in high school, and many scouts believed he had major league potential.

There were actually three players drafted in the 2003 NBA draft that spelled there first name with the letter 'Z'. Zaur, known as 'Zaza' was from Georgia (a country near Russia).
