Answer: University of North Carolina

Smith broke the coaching win record of Adolph Rupp in 1997, then was later surpassed by Bobby Knight in 2006. Dean took UNC to 11 Final Four tournaments and two NCAA titles.
2. The University of Louisville saw which NCAA basketball coach at courtside for 30 seasons?

Answer: Denny Crum

1980 and 1986 saw the Cardinals win two NCAA Championships under Crum. In Denny's 30 seasons in Division I, he averaged 23 wins per season over his career.

With UCLA winning National Championships and rostering players from Sidney Wicks, Henry Bibby, Lew Alcindor, and Bill Walton, the Bruins took the college limelight away from USC. Boyd himself was a former Trojan, winning the MVP in 1952. Before taking the helm of USC, he was the coach of Seattle University. Bob left USC for Mississippi State University.
8. Who coached the Purdue Boilermakers for 25 seasons?

Answer: Gene Keady

Gene won seven Big Ten Coach of the Year awards during his tenure at Purdue. He was at the helm from 1980-2005.
9. In 2008, which NCAA basketball coach reached his 900th career win?

Answer: Bobby Knight

From 1965-1971, Bobby helmed the Army Black Knights from the NIT. From 1971-2000, Knight was at the helm of Indiana University. After his departure from the Hoosiers, he took on Texas Tech. In 1984, he also coached the USA Olympic basketball team to a Gold Medal. Knight was the first coach in history to win a NIT and NCAA Championship, along with a Gold Medal at the Olympics.
10. Which USC women's basketball coach quit in 1995?

Answer: Cheryl Miller

Miller was a former player of the the Lady Trojans, and took her team to two tournaments berths in the NCAA in her two seasons at the helm. She left to pursue a broadcasting career. Cheryl is the older sister of former Indiana Pacers star Reggie Miller.
