Answer: Tom Seaver

From 1968-1976 with the New York Mets. He added another 220K season in 1978 with the Reds. He retired with 3640 strikeouts in his 20 seasons.
2. Which catcher was the first to catch 4 no-hitters in his career?

Answer: Ray Schalk

Schalk caught 4 no-hitters with the last one being Charlie Robertson's perfect game in 1922 with the White Sox. He played 17 seasons with Chicago and his final season with the Giants in 1929. A rule change in the 1990s disallowed one of them.
3. Which of the following teams did NOT lose 3 consecutive World Series?

Answer: Brooklyn Dodgers

The Dodgers have never had this dubious honor. The Tigers lost two at the hands of the Cubs in 1907 and 1908, then the Pirates made it the hat-trick in 1909. The Giants lost 3 consecutive from 1911-1913.

Zip Zabel of the Chicago Cubs pitched in relief 18-1/3 innings in relief during a 19 inning game on June 17, 1915 against the Dodgers. He beat Jeff Pfeffer who pitched the entire game for the Dodgers 4-3. Zabel relieved 36 games while pitching 163 innings.
