1. Round 1 v. South Sydney: according to Channel 9's commentary team, the biggest cheer from the crowd was for whose try?

Answer: Brad Watts

Watts scored the first, and only, Bunnies try with a minute left on the clock. Hegarty scored the first (of many) Roosters tries. Green almost scored the first try after 4 minutes, but dropped the ball over the line as he sustained the knee injury that ruled him out for the season. Wing also scored a try, and is a former Rabbitoh.
2. The Roosters played the Warriors, for the first of three matches, in Round 2, the Warriors won 21-14. Which of these players scored a double?

Answer: Ali Lauiti'iti

Cleary scored two goals, not two tries. Minichiello and Meli both scored one try.
3. Which player ended his season with a knee injury in the Round 4 match at Brookvale Oval?

Answer: Ryan Cross

Cross also broke his leg against the Storm in 2001. Green's knee injury came in Roundd 1. Milton's injury didn't come until much later, around Round 20. Ferris from the Eagles had no injuries.
This was one of the few games Eric Grothe Jnr. played in during the year, and the Northern Eagles won 28-22.
4. The Roosters' highest score during the season was against which team?

Answer: North Queensland

They beat the Cowboys 58-12 in Round 7, the Eagles 45-18 in Round 14, the Warriors 44-0 in Round 24, and Souths 42-6 in Round 13 (and 40-6 in Round 1).
5. The lowest crowd for the season was at Aussie Stadium in Round 9 against Melbourne. What was it?

Answer: 7,012

7,139 was against Penrith in Round 8 and 7,318 was against North Queensland in Round 6, both at Aussie Stadium. 8,131 was at Olympic Park in Round 18, playing the Storm. Aussie Stadium was the home ground of the Roosters in 2002, the old Sydney Football Stadium.
6. How many players scored at least 8 points against Canberra in Round 17, where the Roosters won 36-6?

Answer: 4

Hegarty scored 12 pts (3 tries), Wing scored 8 pts (2 tries), Mullins also scored 8 pts (2 tries), and Fitgibbon scored 8 pts kicking 4 goals. No-one else scored for the Roosters that afternoon.
7. The 9 game winning streak started in Round 22 with a 28-18 win over who?

Answer: Brisbane

This game was at ANZ Stadium and featured 8 tries. Channel 9 awarded man-of-the-match to 'Origin heartbreak kid' Justin Hodges, who started wearing his white boots that night.
8. In how many of their 28 games did the Roosters lead at halftime?

Answer: 16

At halftime they: led 16 times, trailed 8 times, and were even 4 times. There were two come-from-behind wins (in Round 16 vs. Wests Tigers, and vs. Brisbane in the preliminary finals). There was one loss-from-in-front (v. Brisbane in Round 3) and one behind-draw (v. Parramatta in Round 15).
9. Which departing, local junior, Rooster scored his final try for the Roosters, and the final grand final try on October 6th?

Answer: Bryan Fletcher

Goodbye Flectch! He had to sign with the Rabbitohs for 2003 because the Roosters could no longer fit him in under the salary cap. A great career with the Roosters.
10. Who ended 2002 as the leading Roosters pointscorer, and won a place in the Australian Test team?

Answer: Craig Fitzgibbon

Altogether, he scored 186 points in season 2002: 6 tries and 81 goals.
