The Baseball Hall of Fame is in Cooperstown, New York, which began in 1936 with five greats being inaugurated. The Football Hall of Fame is in Canton, Ohio.
2. Who won the Stanley Cup in the 2003-04 season?

Answer: Tampa Bay Lightning

The Avalanche and Flames were beaten by the San Jose Sharks. Anaheim was in the 2002-03 Finals, but did not make the playoffs for the 2003-04 year. The Lightning were led by Martin St. Louis and Nikolai Khabibulin.
3. Who was nicknamed "Bambino"?

Answer: Babe Ruth

Mays was the 'Say Hey Kid', Aaron was 'Hammerin' Hank', and Gehrig was the 'Iron Horse'. Babe had the most career home runs until Hank Aaron came along, and the single season home run record until Roger Maris broke it in 1961.

Jimmy Smith was drafted by the Cowboys but given eventually to the Jaguars, with whom he had a lot of success. Payton fit well with the Bears of the 1980s and won a Super Bowl. He was the NFL leading career rusher until Emmitt Smith broke his record.

Answer: Jackie Robinson

It was given to him in 1947 for a productive year with the Brooklyn Dodgers. He hit .297 and had 175 hits in the season, along with 12 home runs, and put a fiery spirit into the Dodgers. He out-voted Larry Jansen of the New York Giants for the award.
9. Where was Roger Clemens born?

Answer: Dayton, Ohio

22 years later, the 'Rocket' debuted in a Red Sox uniform in 1984. He won won his seventh Cy Young Award in 2004, as a Houston Astro.
10. Which of these did Don Budge, the star U.S. tennis player, not win in 1938?

Answer: Olympics

If Don won the grand slam, he must have won the Australian. 1938 was not an Olympic year, so he could not have won the Olympics that year.
