Answer: Ruth

George Herman 'Babe' Ruth helped baseball be what it is today. Born in 1895, Ruth debuted in 1914 with the Red Sox. The move to the Yankees in 1920 brought a whole new picture and home runs to baseball. He hit 50+ home runs in a season four times and retired with 714.
2. This George was both a player and a manager for the St. Louis Browns of the American League. He once set a record by having 257 hits in the 1920 season. Who was he?

Answer: Sisler

Six times in George's career, he had over 200 hits in a season, and retired with 2812 after only 15 seasons. Sisler's record was later broken by Ichiro Suzuki.
