1. In this episode, Scooby meets the comedic Three Stooges. What are the Stooges trying to run?

Answer: Amusement Park

The Three Stooges were known for their extreme slapstick comedy, some of which came from physical harm coming to one of the Stooges. Hanna-Barbera had to tone down the Stooges' humor a bit, so that it wouldn't be considered "offensive" by the parents of the children who were watching.

2. What is the name of the mechanical T-Rex?

Answer: Tyrone

On "The Best of the New Scooby-Doo Movies" DVD, some of scenes in the intro of the guest stars are removed, due to copyright issues. Nine of the episodes in this series are not released due to contract issues with Charles Addams, Phyllis Diller, Sandy Duncan, Sonny and Cher, Davy Jones of the Monkees, Jerry Reed, DC Comics, Sidney Sheldon and Tim Conway. Oddly, Sonny and Cher allowed the episode including them to be released in the UK, and Tim Conway allowed another episode with him as a voice actor to be released in the US and UK.

3. What causes Tyrone to roar?

Tyrone's roar was done by the famous Henry Corden, who is perhaps best known for voicing Fred Flintstone later in the 70s.

4. Why is this episode considered "controversial" by some fans?

Answer: Fred makes a sexist joke

When Fred and Daphne are in the desert, Fred says "This desert is like a woman...it goes on, and on, and on." This offended many feminist fans (including me) of the show. Also, it should be noted that this wasn't the only time Fred made a sexist joke; nine episodes later, he would tell the girls to stay at the hotel because it was too dangerous.

Despite complaints, the episode was not removed from TV.

Ingagi is the Three Stooges' monkey and is my favorite character of the episode.

The Three Stooges were one of the few guest stars on this show to appear more than once. They would also appear in episode 11 "The Ghost of the Red Baron."

The Gunslinger actually is a programmed robot.

Due to a huge animation glitch, Fred loses his whole lower body for a second when asking Shaggy and Scooby to help get them out.

Crunch and Rhino dress up dummies in their own clothes so that they won't be discovered.

In my favorite scene from the episode, Shaggy tells Scooby to think about how to rescue the rest of the gang, but then keeps talking over him about "people who won't stop talking."

While Shaggy won't stop talking, Scooby thinks of Tyrone from the beginning of the episode and uses the giant robot to get the gang out.

While it's not actually explained in the episode why the Gunslinger was a robot in one of the scenes, it can be inferred that Crunch was the Gunslinger the rest of the time.

They planned to smuggle the uranium across the border in a bat-copter.

The one mystery that is never solved in this episode is who the cactus was that chased Fred and Daphne in the desert, although it can be assumed it was either Crunch or Rhino trying to scare the gang.
